Preloading and File Size

Now this game is going to be big. Like really big. There have been rumors that the physical copies of the game may have to come in two discs! The Physical copies will clock in at around 99 Gb for the PS4 and about 88 Gb for Xbox One.

However The hardrive space required for digital copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 Will clock in at almost 150 Gbs of space. If you have  PS4 Pro and the Xbox One x than you should be ok, but the older versions will suffer substantially from file size this large.

A file size this large will require a good amount of time to load. Thankfully Rockstar has given us more information on when players can start pre-loading the game. Preloading will begin on October 19th which gives the download time of a week prior to the games launch.

New Launch Trailer

The New Launch trailer released on October 18th, just a week before the Red Dead Redemption 2 release on October 26th. This was our last chance to see what the game will offer in terms of story elements until it comes out next Friday. That being said, the trailer teases some new elements of story, outlining conflicts of morality and loyalty.
