Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Game Play Recap | The Big Break

Join us in our Odyssey this time with another Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Game Play Recap. Featuring the Quest, The Big Break, we follow Alexios on his mission to kill the Cyclops and begin his journey into Greater Greece!

Alexios’ final mission on Kephalonia is to kill the Cyclops and steal his ship. The Cyclops has returned to the island with his best men and an important prisoner named Barnabas.

Barnabas is the captain of the Adrestia, the ship Alexios will command later in the game.

After, reaching the Cyclops’ house, Alexios finds Barnabas being tortured for calling the Cyclops by his title. It offends him greatly when people say Cyclops. Probably because his lack of an eye denotes a certain failure.

Alexios intervenes in the situation, taunting the Cyclops with the Obsidian eye he stole. Once Alexios shoves the eye into a goats crapper though, is where the fight begins.

The Cyclops becomes enraged at the loss of his eye and orders his men to attack. The fight ensues in the middle of the night, but it is nothing Alexios cannot handle. When the fight is over, he rescues Barnabas.

Barnabas expresses great gratitude for his savior and offers Alexios his ship and crew as compensation. This allows Alexios to begin his journey to Megaris, where The Wolf of Sparta has set his camp.

The Wolf of Sparta is Nikolaos of Sparta, Alexios and Kassandra’s father. Once Barnabas reveals the name of the Wolf, Alexios realizes this is not only a contract for money, but one for vengeance as well.

Once the course is set, Alexios and Barnabas begin their voyage to Megaris. They see what naval warfare has to offer them. The war has split Greece in two, and they sail in the midst of intense battle all the way to Megaris.
