Daytona Beach Sports DME Academy. Lacrosse girls team open to ages 8-18 years old. Do you like sports? Do you play basketball? Softball? Or soccer? Well, Lacrosse sounds like it’s just for you. There’s a little bit of every sport combined in the game. The lacrosse stick is similar to a softball bat/hockey, the defense and offense techniques are how you would play basketball, transition like soccer, and communication/energy like volleyball. Lacrosse is fun spring sport and there is a summer program that you can join in on.
Daytona Beach Sports DME
Daytona Beach Sports DME is now introducing the program with Coach Byron Catroppa as the Lacrosse Director. Coach Catroppa has been playing lacrosse since middle school all the way through college. We admire that he’s doing what he loves and his passion for the sport. He’s an amazing Coach and has helped out my high school’s lacrosse team to the best of his abilities. Our team had not won a single game in the past 2 years and only had 11-12 players in the program. Ever since he joined us, we won 8 games and have over 30 players now. As a team, we are a family and that’s very important to him. Communication on the field and off-field is key to being family.
We are recruiting girls for the Daytona Beach Sports DME. It’s alright if you’re from different areas such as Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Sanford, DeLand, Deltona.
You are welcome to come to play and practice with us at our location Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach. It’s a great environment and the girls are lucky to have Coach Emily and Coach John her father. Emily has been playing lacrosse since she was a child and is very passionate about the sport. We provide everything you need to play Lacrosse.
