57-year-old Sheryl Crow had a lot to say in response to Kid Rock’s ‘sexist tweet’ against famed singing star, Taylor Swift. After Kid’s tweet, she responded by saying, “Spread love. Not hate. End of subject.”
Crow and Rock both have a history together from working on “Picture,” one of the most successful hits in their careers. However things got kind of hairy after this tweet battle where in a response to Swift’s interview with Vogue, where she discussed her political views and her desire to be more involved with LGBTQ rights.
“Rights are being stripped from basically everyone who isn’t straight white cisgender male,” Swift told Vogue,” I didn’t realize until recently that I could advocate for a community that I’m not a part of.” She continued “It’s hard to know how to do that without being so fearful of making a mistake that you just freeze. Because my mistakes are very loud.”
Apparently, Kid Rock saw this as a desperate attempt to rebirth Swift’s movie career and further plant herself in Hollywood. As so many people on the left look to further their agendas appealing to certain groups that will affect their rise to fame, it might be fair to assume that these claims by Swift are at hear, insincere.
